Strength & durability
Surface made up of melamine resin reinforced with aluminium oxide, one of the
hardest mineral compounds known to man. Able to resist staining, fading, surface
moisture, scratches, cigarette burns, stiletto marks and general wear and tear.
Core made from HDF (high density fibreboard), as opposed to the MDF core
(medium density fibreboard) that many competitors use. HDF is a stronger and
more stable board, more resistant to puncutres from sharp objects or sudden
pressure and much less likely to swell if in contact with water.

Balterio cares about the environment
All Balterio laminate floors are PEFC-certified to ensure the
preservation of our forests. For each tree that is used in the
production process, another one is planted.
Balterio laminate floors contain 10 times less formaldehyde
than the required European Standards.
Balterio laminate flooring can be re-used; since it is usually floated on an
underlay, it can be uplifted and laid in another area if you wish.
Balterio have created a program called ‘Embrace the future’ where they
go to great efforts to reduce or avoid waste and where possible to recycle
and re-use it. A good example is their own bio mass power plant in which
they convert waste material into energy for their production process. At the
moment more than 90% of the energy used during the production process
comes from their own power plant.
